SAD NEWS – owing to serious ill health, we are forced to postpone The Airgun Show until (we hope!) 2015. We will update this website as and when we have any definite news. Thank you for your support and patience at this difficult time.
The Airgun market is often seen by many shows and trade exhibitions as of secondary importance, playing second fiddle to shotguns and live fire rifles.
We however believe differently. We see the Airgun market and clientele as a huge and under-represented section of the shooting market, and this is why we are going to stage The Airgun Show.
The Airgun Show will be held annually in November at Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre, near Rugby, in Warwickshire, convenient for the M45 / M1 / M6. It will be the largest sole Air Weapon show in the UK, if not Europe. We will be staging the show in linked all weather arenas, so negating any risk of wet weather spoiling things. For 2014 The Airgun Show will be on 8th & 9th November.
The directors of The Airgun Show have an extensive portfolio of shows and markets stretching back many years, our experience and knowledge in this field is second to none. We have spent the last year researching the Air Weapon market and it’s customer’s needs and wishes.
Consequently, we welcome manufacturers to display and demonstrate their products, and for those booking larger trade stands we offer (at a nominal additional cost) a Demonstration Firing Range 15m by 5m – but for any manufacturer with retail representation in the UK, direct sales at the show are prohibited and requests should be directed instead to their retail representatives, who should be at the show with sufficient stock to meet demand. We believe this gives manufacturers an unequalled opportunity to demonstrate their products first hand, it would also be an opportunity to release new models or accessories direct to your customer base through your existing retail channels.
This is not a just a selling ‘trade show’ but an event where the air-gunning public can speak directly to importers and manufacturers as well as to traders selling the actual products on the day. This is obviously of use in feedback for product development and design, as well as being important in gaining and retaining customer goodwill and loyalty.
Trade stands are available in a variety of sizes, from 12 square metres. Stand-fitting can be provided (standard grey clothed shell scheme in metre wide panels to rear and sides as required), and tables can be provided if pre-booked. We can also provide electricity to stands for card-readers etc – the venue is well lit and additional display lighting should not be necessary.
The venue is currently undergoing a considerable investment and the facilities are being up-graded. It has a Bar, a Restaurant and a Cafeteria serving home-cooked meals, and a new Shower Block. The Arenas we will be using in 2014 provide for 4, 520 square metres of exhibition space, and a larger facility will be built in the near future with an additional 7,480 square metres, so The Airgun Show has plenty of room to expand.
